PILOT TRAINING COURSES AVAILABLE AT HOVER DYNAMICS

Helicopter Private Pilot License (H-PPL):

The Private Helicopter Pilot training program is intended for people who may be learning to fly as a hobby, for personal business or for those who are planning to purchase their own aircraft. With your Private Pilot Certificate you are allowed to take family, friends and co-workers on board the aircraft while acting as Pilot in Command. The only restriction to acting as a Private Pilot is that you are not allowed compensated for your flying. In order to receive compensation or payment you must carry a Helicopter Commercial Pilot Licence (H-CPL).

Helicopter Commercial Pilot License (H-CPL):

The Helicopter Commercial Pilot License allows you to fly for hire or for compensation. With the privilege of the Commercial Pilot License comes added responsibility due to the fact that you are now able to fly passengers. The additional responsibility also means that you will have new regulations to learn as well as how to better accommodate your customers while maintaining a high level of flight safety.

HOVER DYNAMICS MAINTENANCE CC

AMO:237 & AMO:966

Hover Dynamics Maintenance Grand Central Airport, AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organization) #237, was started in 1994 as a division of Hover Dynamics. Our second branch in Nelspruit AMO, #966, has been in operation since 2013.

The focus of maintenance at that time was to ensure that our own fleet of aircraft were maintained to the highest standards. However the demand for maintenance from private owners was so overwhelming that soon we were the busiest AMO on the airfield.

Hover Dynamics Maintenance is licensed and approved by the SACAA for engine and airframes categories E & F rotorcraft.
